Director Daniel Toledo tells us out his film 'Victoria' a bittersweet reunion between a trans woman and her ex that sparks tension and long-buried resentment.

The film is one of five films selected for Five Films for Freedom, running 17 – 28 March 2021 alongside BFI Flare, the LGBTIQ+ film festival.

Five Films for Freedom, the world's first global, digital LGBTIQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer) short-film programme is brought to you by the British Council and the British Film Institute (BFI), enabling people from all over the world to watch five films from the festival for free online.
