We rolled into Wichita Falls, Texas to experience a downtown spot that blends public-service pride, small-batch coffee, local wine, and craveable bites — Hook & Ladder Coffees and Wine Co. 🚒☕🍷
Hook & Ladder is co-owned by Jon and Pam Reese and Bill and Lauri Weske, and the heart behind the business is all about community, family, faith, and fun. Jon and Bill are longtime fire-service leaders. Jon retired as Fire Chief after 35 years, and Bill retired as Assistant Fire Chief after 33 years, and the firehouse-inspired theme is a tribute to the men and women who dedicate their lives to public safety.
Inside, you’ll find single-origin coffee beans that are small-batch artisan roasted right in their shop, plus exquisite wine served from a local urban winery. And it’s not just drinks, Hook & Ladder is also known for handcrafted flatbreads and a lineup of food that pairs perfectly with a glass of wine or a great cup of coffee.
Whether you’re stopping in for a cozy coffee moment, a flatbread and wine night, or just looking for a laid-back spot with a great vibe, Hook & Ladder delivers great drinks, great food, and a story built on service and community.
