Fish Lake High Top, elevation 11,633 ft., is the highpoint for Sevier County in central Utah.
Fish Lake with the High Top are must visits! Another high plateau above 11,000 ft. stretching for miles with a nice big cherry on top consisting of bus and house size boulders piled more than 100 feet high you have to scramble up to tag the benchmark spike! Now, add the whipped cream.. Autumn has Fallen above 10,000 feet! The Quakies already turned their golden bright yellows with some fiery orange mixed in. To be expected because I almost froze camping next to Fish Lake.. until I caved and unrolled the extra sleeping bag.. it was in the 30s overnight! And, along the 4x4 road up to the plateau in the morning, the pine-trees and meadows were flocked with a beautiful crystal white frost layer.
