Here's my process at using my chainsaw mill for the first time on cedar logs I had dropped days before with my Husqy chainsaw the 460 rancher, the 80+ feet tall Cedar was a great exercise to test that mill which costs about 120$, this one:

And, well, aside from my poor sharpening skills, (improved since!) this went well overall and made enough boards for a chicken coop and outhouse siding.
