Note:I do a little PG swearing which is not normal but man sometimes it just comes out.
I filmed this awhile ago and figured I'll be leaving these ancient reviews for Steve from now on. Cheers!
This review is a of a first production run or MRE I which was between 1981-1984.This was menu #3 Beef Pattie and packaged by the Southern Packaging and Storage Company, Inc. or the precursor to SoPakCo in Mullins, South Carolina. It was still available when I joined the Army in 87 and were issued until stocks exhausted. I included a few tips and tricks we used to use in the field. After 33 years (at time of filming) it is both a testament and lesson that some things last longer than others and some things are just as edible as when they were packaged. Oh and my music choice reminded me of a Garage Band from the 80's! I will leave a disclaimer here so anyone wanting or willing to try any ancient ration. Use your own judgment and common sense before placing anything of any age in any orifice. Like, Share & Subscribe Cheers!
