This review is a German MRE or German miltary (Bundeswehr) 24 hour Combat Ration designed to provide a balanced diet of over 3,000 calories for extended operations. This Type is unique as it is the light weight version that weights a whole pound less than the standard "Ready to Eat" EPA version.
