![Tales of Xillia Jude & Milla Duo: All Bosses [Unknown]
It would be nearly impossible alone. However... Were not alone!
Welcome to the Jude & Milla duo run played by me and Hepkin! We decided to do this run because we wanted to do something for the Tales of Xillia 1 Remaster. Im not an OG fan of this game as I only played Xillia 1 for the first time a few years ago. Despite this, I love X1 to death and I felt that theres no better way to celebrate the Remaster than with a full run of the dual protagonists! I decided to upload this a week before the Remaster drops so you have something to watch while you wait lol.
I had to bring on Hep for this run because I literally cannot imagine anyone other than him playing Jude. When I think of Jude, I think of Hep. We both had a ton of fun with this run even though some fights took a very long time (GAIUS 1). I hope you enjoy!
Players:
Jude - @Hepkin
Milla - @HorangiTiger
Game Modifications:
-Modified the party
-Used a patch to allow the linked partner to control their character
-Set HP to 1
-Used OVL script in the Maxwell fight
-Removed the battle event in the Final Boss fight so that party members dont join
-Edited costume slots to make some... interesting outfits
Notes:
-Lilium Orb progression was used for artes and skills so we were limited in the early game
-Herbs were allowed only for optional bosses (most notably Golden Mage Knight so we could burn him)

![Tales of Xillia Milla Solo: Alvin [No Items/Unknown/No Damage]
After the one Milla side fight, its time to take on the three Jude side fights. The Jude side is just better unfortunately lol.
Pretty fitting fight to upload on the day of the Remasters announcement :p
Game Modifications:
-Modified the party
-Activated Magic Stance normals
Strategy:
Although Im using the Spirit Realm Milla outfit for the bit, Im going to be restricting usage of the Four in these fights. Its easily justifiable, but eh. In any case, Alvin is another fairly easy fight. Just like Spirit Realm Muzet, this fight is a 1v1 in the original game so he has very little HP and iron stance. Alvin can be guard manipulated into using Pulse Shot or Variable Trigger which I can simply jump over. His counters are: Sonic Thrust, a normal attack, and Tornado Drive. Out of these, Id say Sonic Thrust is the most dangerous as its quite quick and tough to backstep. Hell only use Tornado Drive if he counters in the air though. This makes it so that its easy to avoid seeing it as Milla. That being said, Tornado Drive is a bit scary as an anti-air since it has a big vertical hitbox. I can deal with it by quickly jumping away after I see the counter !.

Gotta love the obligatory big bear boss. Technically an optional fight but I decided to actually do it this time around :p
Game Modifications:
-Modified the party
Strategy:
This thing is surprisingly dangerous although its not too terribly difficult. Its usual counter is just a slam down attack that has a ginormous hitbox and can also anti-air very easily. Luckily, its only one hit so its easy to time and backstep. The dangerous counter can occur below 50% HP: Rush Bumper. He basically just charges at me and turns his entire body into a hitbox. When youre a bear THAT big, its quite the scary attack. I have to jump backwards as soon as possible if I see this attack come out. It can be guard manipped into using Assault Claw, which has a little bit of a wind-up so its easy to punish that and start attacking with Grave as usual.
Last thing to say about Graddic Claw is that its surprisingly easy to burn. Even with just natural stats, its very likely to burn this guy if I use fire element attacks. Since this guy is fairly tanky, I just roll with it honestly lol.

![Tales of Xillia Milla Solo: Jiao [No Items/Unknown/No Damage]
Pretty tough fight as always from Jiao, but even a limited Milla has the ability to make it through!
Game Modifications:
-Modified the party
-Activated Millas magic stance normals
Strategy:
Since this fight contains Jiao and two wolves, my first priority is to take out the wolves first. What Im going to do first is use Overdrive to buy myself some time from Jiao. This is because the wolves take a few seconds to activate their AIs for some reason. When I see the wolves running at me, I jump, use Shimmer Spin twice, then use aerial spell glitch to cast Flame Ring. I dont have any additional jump skills yet, so Shimmer Spin is all I have for aerial ascension. Jiao can still hit me if he uses Wolf Strike, but this is the best strat Ive got lol. Afterwards, I do an aerial backdash (I have access to aerial dashes now!) and then use a new arte: Binding Sphere. What thisll do is hold all three of them in place for a little bit and I can use this time to take out the wolves. The wolves are weak to Earth, so Grave will do tons of damage to them if one of them is still fairly healthy.
As for Jiao himself, he was quite tough to deal with at first since I didnt really know how to deal with his iron stance very well. I found out that Grave was the solution to all my problems. Grave has just enough hits to consistently break his iron stance so once I started leading with that, things got a lot easier. Jiao has three counters. Devils Maw, Rending Quake, and Lone Wolf Charge (LWC is exclusively a guard counter though). Rending Quake and Devils Maw are both quite easy to dodge since they have some wind-up, especially now that I have an aerial dash that is much longer than Millas normal backstep if I need to cover more distance in a short amount of time. I definitely dont want to hit his guard and proc LWC though.
Some notable new artes I got this time around are Death Knell and Binding Sphere. Death Knell is a decent landing arte that sends me straight down and also knocks down enemies. Itll be pretty useful throughout the run for landing safely. Binding Sphere is a very fun arte as it spawns a sphere that consistently deals hits so I can use it to buy time for other things like spells :)
