First paddle of the season on the Boise River, and apparently I decided to make it extra interesting: new kayak, new PFD, new paddle, and my very first time using the Insta360 X5.
Was I fully prepared? Mostly.
Did I understand how the camera worked? Absolutely not.
This short clip captures a fun little test run with my new gear while I tried to figure out where to look, what the camera was doing, and whether I was filming myself, the river, the sky, or all of the above. The Boise River was beautiful, the paddle felt great, and the camera learning curve was very real.
