A beautiful day for kayaking with my Intex Challenger K1 - called Serenity - at Swan Falls Dam. Penny joined me on this adventure, she even took a swim in the water. I love this little inflatable kayak! It's great for impromptu kayaking opportunities on flat water, such as this dam. It takes 5 minutes or less to set up and is a sturdy little kayak. I also own a Sea Eagle FastTrack inflatable kayak and you will be seeing videos of my adventures with that nifty kayak as well.
If this area looks familiar, this dam is on the Snake River, five miles upriver from Dedication Point. Drone flights are not allowed around the hydroelectric dam that is owned and operated by Idaho Power. Fair enough, I love having this area to go kayaking after a nice drone flight off Dedication Point. There is so much to explore around this canyon and I have so many ideas for videos in the coming seasons. Stay tuned!
