Last night Thistle kicked off the long awaited start to kidding season with three beautiful mini Nubian babies! Welcome to Archie, Alice & Anastasia!! Every year I forget how absolutely cute newborn goats are and how emotional it is to see them arrive, all wet and wide eyed and ready to leap into whatever life brings. They are good for the soul and a reminder to greet each day with as much joy as we can muster — even in challenging times! Perhaps especially in challenging times! 20 more mamas left to kid! We are naming them all after animated movie and cartoon characters. The next babies names will start with B and C. I expect them in the next couple of days! Give us all your best name ideas!
