After many years we finally had the first trains in revenue passenger service running through the Metro Tunnel! This video is my view of this fantastic experience on 30 November 2025, including chats with people on the day, my unplanned disruption and footage of the first trains to go through.

Thank you very much to those of you who gave up their time to be interviewed! And my apologies to the one person who I didn't include - unfortunately the microphone didn't pick up your voice so I couldn't use it in the video.
