Today I’m taking a private train for the next 36 hours, travelling from San Francisco to Denver - a journey of over 1,000 miles.
This is the first time I’ve ever had a train entirely to myself, so join me as we find out what this experience is really like. As usual, I’ll provide a full breakdown of the cost later in the video. We’ll explore the sleeper carriage, including the coveted Grand Canyon Suite with its queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. We’ll dine in the private dining room and eat exceptionally well thanks to Chef Jeff. Then we’ll take a look at the lounge, which feels more like a private members’ club… before heading up into the observation dome for some of the best views you can get on the rails.
