Here's what it's like onboard a banned flight... in Business Class.
I took the very first Dubai to Doha flight on Qatar Airways for 3.5 years where Qatar was banned from flying to the UAE. Since this blockade was lifted just a few weeks ago flights have started to resume. As I was in Dubai for work, I jumped at the opportunity to get onboard a flight. And as luck would have it, this is the very first flight operated, and whilst this was originally scheduled for an A320, the 787 Dreamliner got swapped onto this unique "inaugural".
