MAJOR CORRECTION BELOW -----------
Many (maybe even most) Bottega bags and SLGs are lambskin. I'm annoyed at myself for not doing a quick fact check, but I didn't do it until after filming and editing the video.
This piece is part lamb, part calfskin. It says clearly on the Bottega website that the woven leather pieces are lambskin. The staff mentioned multiple times that they were new and watching training videos, so I should have known to check because I was so sure that the pouch was lambskin. Anyway, just wanted to correct that because I hate to put out incorrect information!
Something interesting I discovered - I found the same pieces listed on Nordstrom online, and they would have different information to the Bottega site. So just a word of warning. For example, Bottega would list something clearly as 50% lamb and 50% calf, but Nordstrom would just say Calfskin.
