Here are a few pieces that made my life a little brighter when I felt like a lifeless, swamp thing, devoid of color and bounce!

We all make tough choices to balance our personal and professional goals. My best choice meant a 5 hour train ride to work each week, spending a few days away from my husband and kitties, then 5 hours back. It's not lost on me that I was very lucky to have options, but it was still tough.

For silk scarves, I highly recommend looking online or in thrift shops if you want a bargain. You can easily steam to disinfect or dry clean, and it will be a fraction of the cost. I love these Ferragamo ones to bring life to my face! They also put my best colors next to my face, allowing me to wear a camel/neutral coat even though it isn't my best color!
