A parent emitter is the 'rocket,'
A child emitter is the 'trail' of the parent 'rocket' emitter ('trail' emitter parented to 'rocket'), with child Nozzle set to Parent-Emitter.
and a 2nd child emitter is 'flash,' also parented to the 'rocket' emitter ('Flash' emitter parented to 'Rocket') and Nozzle set to Parent Emitter End, which is a single point emitted and lasting only one frame, for a 'flash' effect.
and a 3rd child emitter parented to the 'rocket' emitter is the 'tips' of the trails that burst/spread out,
The 'Tips' emitter has its own child emitter called 'trails' that spread out a trail.
The 'Trails' emitter has its own child emitter (hierarchy: rocket-tips-trails-trails), leaving secondary trails.
Choose appropriate gravity, drag, vibration, parent-motion, and winds to make particles move and twist as in the second type of firework in the demo, and ad an overall direction wind to have them drift slightly side-to-side.
Reference actual fireworks to get motion and timing. Use correct scale. Come up with your own sprite colors, etc. A moving turbulence in the sprite luma makes them 'twinkle' a bit.
The smokey haze is a simple fractal noise generated in Fusion, moving right to left slowly as if in a slight wind, and is revealed by a luma mask. The luma mask is created by glowing and blurring the fireworks, so the fireworks seem to illuminate the haze.
