The US Department of Energy is responsible for the cybersecurity of the US electric sector. They have been working on this issue for decades now and have numerous programs designed to help private industry. Recent efforts have been focused on changing the game with Cyber Informed Engineering.
Dale Peterson interviewed Katie Jereza, the Assistant Secretary for the Department's Office of Energy. She is not a newcomer to this challenge. Katie has worked at EEI, EPRI, and other electric sector organizations over the last twenty years.
