California Through My Lens | Firefall in Yosemite National Park (Full Unedited 1 Hour Experience in 4K) @californiathroughmylens | Uploaded February 2021 | Updated October 2024, 38 minutes ago.
Yosemite National Park is home to the natural firefall that happens once a year from mid to late February. During this time of year, the sun sets right on the waterfall and it makes it look like lava pouring over the side of El Capitan. Conditions have to be just right in order for the event to happen, with no clouds to block the sunset and enough water flow to create the seasonal waterfall. I got a chance to visit in 2021 and I recorded this raw video just to share the experience with those who have never seen it.

I will have a full video of my dad and me's adventure in the next week showing you the behind the scenes of shooting this event.
