Cowles Mountain is a popular trail in San Diego's Mission Trails Regional Park that is the city's official high point. The 1,600 foot peak provides amazing views out towards the ocean, Downtown San Diego, and even into Mexico. It is a relatively straightforward hike but it does go up the entire time. I actually enjoy this spot in San Diego for a good workout with great views. Let me know what you think in the comments.
