Another escape map, and I don't know if you noticed but I have a lot of units to spare, so I can easily leave behind... okay nevermind, I don't have 4 more units to spare so this one will be done the normal way.

In addition to my 6-8 units who start far away from the gate, I also gain control of Glade and 5 scrubs who are here to protect the gate from the enemy army, at least until Leif's group arrives. And when I say 5 scrubs, I really mean it. They are generic level 5 units with stats randomized the same way than the enemy ones (including movement...) who are unlikely to survive more than one hit, and will not reappear after this chapter, regardless of whether or not they are still alive.

Glade on the hand is far better but with flaws. He is the only prepromote I will get in the whole run who will not leave my army at some point, with decent stats and A-rank Lance. He is also my third and last unit with a leadership star (with Leif and Finn), giving a global +3% accuracy and avoid bonus to all my units when he is on the map. However indoor he is stuck with his base E-rank Sword and he can't really OHKO anything with it.

Leif's group is formed by all my competent mounted units, which is just enough to reach the minimum deployment threshold. Nanna used one Stamina Drink (1 left), which may seem like a waste for a 6 turns clear where she is just spamming Heal, but every single Staff Wexp count as far as she is concerned. Selphina was surprisingly useful on turn 1 enemy phase as she could counter all the bow knights with her Killer Bow. Meanwhile Karin has some much avoid thanks to Fergus, Nanna and the Kingmaker supports that the ballista will usually prefer to target Leif instead. The rest of the chapter is then easy for them.

The real challenge is on Glade's group, as he is the only one who can reliably fight, and they have no way to heal apart from the gate. The path must be clear for Leif's group by turn 6. The trick is that the big enemy army charging towards the gate will prioritize fighting if one of my unit is in range, else they will take the most "direct" path to the gate. However I can place my scrubs in a way so that there is a "direct" path to the gate that involves taking a big detour to the left, allowing to not deal with some of the enemies, while Glade took care of some of them on turn 1. All that was left was to take away all the scrubs weapons before finishing the chapter, as they sold for a lot and I am already low on money in the first place.
