This is a quick demonstration video to show how strong Ares's Blazing build is. My unmerged version is +Atk/-Def, going against a full 5*+10 Fire-blessed team in Arena Assault.

Assist (Reposition recommended)
Blazing special of your choice
Brazen Atk/Def 3
Swordbreaker 3 (to bait Ayra, Zelgius, or any lesser swords)
Savage Blow 3 (splash damage)
Hardy Bearing 3 (to bypass Vantage)
Support him with Hone Cavalry and maybe a dancer, and he can easily take down entire teams by himself. This won't work on every map (avoid defensive tiles) but he is a monster on a budget assault squad.
