Finty won second prize with composition ‘Morning in the Streets’, in the Music to Picture category for Guildhall Young Artists competition 'RELEASE'.
Finty, from Guildhall Young Artists Norwich says: “I wrote Morning in the streets with the intention to create an atmosphere of abandoned but peaceful streets. As the music progresses and the day fills with busy life and the feeling of the human race invading, the music reflects this with a crescendo in sound and orchestration creating a thicker texture. After this build, we go back to the abandoned and empty streets of evening and peace as the music rejoices in the tranquility."
The category judge for Music to Picture was Rob Lane, Film & TV Composer.
