After months of gliding across Footscray Road’s sky, the 116 metre-long launching gantry crane has completed its journey.
Over 2.5 kilometres of road has been laid down, creating six new elevated lanes that will create more links between the north, city and the west.
The launching gantry will now take approximately two months to dismantle.
There’s still a lot more work to be done completing the connections to the elevated road.
