Ontario Traffic Man | Finch Corridor Bike Path tour (Part 2) @OntarioTrafficMan | Uploaded September 2011 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
A ride along the Finch Corridor Path from Bathust St. to Dufferin St.

The path forms Toronto Bicycle Route 44, the main east-west route in North York. It stretches west 12km from North York Centre to Norfinch Dr, primarily along the Finch Hydro Corridor.

This was taken on "opening day", August 31, 2011, but construction was still not finished. The 5km portion between Yonge and Dufferin had been open to the public for over a month, but lines had not yet been painted, and none of the traffic signals were active.

West of Dufferin, the path was not even paved yet, and was not open at all. It opened to the public roughly a month later, but is still under construction.

This video is inspired by the excellent tours of Dutch cycle facilities done by Mark Wagenbuur (Youtube user markenlei).
