Come spend a slow summer day with us on our little homestead in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Northern New Mexico. 💛
This week we’re finally getting around to planting our garden! At our elevation, we knew we needed to get everything in the ground before July, so we head out to pick up our plants and spend the day planting alongside the kids.
Of course… Mother Nature had other plans. Between weather delays and some of the craziest wind we’ve had in a while, getting this garden started became a bit more of an adventure than we expected.
We also have something important to share…
Even though we’re planting a garden we’ve been dreaming about, there’s a chance we may not actually be here to harvest it. In this vlog, we open up about why we may be leaving our New Mexico homestead earlier than planned and what that could mean for our family.
Along the way, we make a Walmart run with Molly, cook dinner together, enjoy some sweet family moments, and simply invite you into another ordinary day of life with the Bethunes.
