They have released the Dev Blog detailing what we will be getting in Patch 12.
Long story short, there is a few wins, a few neutrals and a lot missing.
The new mission board and gameplay mode is extremely welcomed. Simply the fact that players at level 30 can now opt to have a rotation almost exclusively lending to hi-Intensity special conditions at Heresy & Damnation difficulty ONLY is an huge bonus. I'm very intrigued to see how good or bad Maelstrom missions will be, hopefully they will provide an exciting challenge to gameplay.
Other wins include the fact that we now no longer need to re-roll perks eternally before getting the perk we want. We can now choose form a list. They did not detail how much material each upgrade will cost, so hopefully they don't ruin it by charging extortionate amounts for each perk. The Blessing & Perk re-roll option has technically been buffed compared to previously, however it feels very lack-luster, as we still come out of it with 2 locked statistics. BREAK THE LOCKS!!!
Overall the patch is a positive one, however, it will be overshadowed by the fact they have not implemented things such as Solo-Play for example amongst many other things.
Let me know your thoughts on the Patch down below and whether you think the future is bright for Darktide or remains Grimdark.
