This is the Steam version of the game, which had to be patched with a "4gb_patch" utility. Without the patch the game would constantly crash after 5 minutes of play.

The game's options are completely maxed out. It has some hitches here and there when there's a lot of effects or objects on-screen, but the performance seems acceptable / okay since it seems to mostly slow down during cinematic freeze-frames (?). The battles are perfectly smooth (for now, possibly). I wanted to test this game myself because I could not find modern footage of the game using a Vega.

For years I heard horrible stories about the performance in this game, and truth be told, it runs okay! It's not stellar, but having Freesync _really_ helps the experience, since I never saw any screen-tearing on my end.

Mobo: MSI b450 Gaming PLUS
GPU: AMD Radeon VII @1900 MHz (+150 overclock), Memory clock: 1050 MHz @ 1080mv. Custom fan curve.
RAM: Team Group TUF DDR4 3000 MT/s

Gameplay resolution at 4K with everything maxed out.

Gameplay recorded with Radeon Relive. Performance while recording decreases by some margin. Normally, the GPU power consumption sits between 75 and 150 watts.
