Hopefully you can just farm Nanochu (youtu.be/NfAF22GaLf4) and won't need to bother with this. If you have Valkyrie Lightning, this will be much easier (youtu.be/e1YvOmThjmw).
I don't recommend farming Chichu repeatedly in this fashion since it requires so much work to get that rare drop and Chichu himself is incredibly useful in this fight. Obviously, though, if I'm trying to get Chichu, I can't use him. Here I simply infused him into Apkallu.
Ideally, you'll want to hold off on the second Stagger until you can clear out any remaining Chichus, but as long as you don't waste your time, it's not entirely necessary (if you can't always time his summons perfectly).
Always interrupt him during Stagger. Most notably, if you don't do so during the first one, he'll summon Chichus and hamper your offense. Maintaining Adrenaline is also vital.
