NO MOTHER, IT'S JUST THE NORTHERN LIGHTS

Lowdown on the restrictions of this challenge:

Ability Nodes Only (ANO) - You can only activate ability nodes, no raising characters' stats in anyway.
Own Sphere Grid (OSG) - Each character may not leave their own section of the sphere grid. Note that these rules combined mean you can still use key spheres to e.g. teach Lulu Doublecast, Yuna Auto-Life etc.
No Summons (NS) - Self-explanatory, Aeons are OP meatshields
No Overdrives (NO) - Mainly for getting rid of Rikku's Mix, which is ludicrously OP
No Items (NI) - No using items, in or out of battle. Chakra Drops, Revival Beads, Megido Rocks, all those classic FF staples are banned (you can still customize equipment though)

Initial equipment:

Tidus: (Stonetouch) + (HP +5%, SOS Haste)
Yuna: (Magic +5%, Magic +3%, Sensor) + (Confuse Ward)
Wakka: (Stonetouch) + (HP +10%, SOS Haste)
Auron: (Piercing, Firestrike) + (HP +5%, SOS Haste)
Lulu: (Magic +10%) + (HP +5%, SOS Haste)

The first phase is easy, but you need to take the time to prepare for Anima. Start by petrifying the guards ASAP, while having Yuna apply Nul-spells (Seymour attacks in a predictable cycle, so you can avoid ever taking damage this way) and then start applying buffs to Tidus. 5 Str boosts is a given, and a single Aim will ensure he doesn't miss Anima at a crucial moment later on. Talk boosts his Str as well, giving him a massive +15 bonus in total. Finally, make sure to cast Reflect on him and Haste on Yuna before lowering his HP below 3000, at which point he'll bring out his mum.

Anima alternates between Boost and Pain. You absolutely have to kill her before her overdrive gauge fills up, but you can't let Yuna or Tidus die doing so. Make sure they are never in the front line when she's about to kill someone, then have Yuna come in and revive them instantly. Lulu and Tidus will be your main damage dealers here - thankfully Anima is vulnerable to Demi.

Once she goes down, Seymour comes back out again, but Reflect will take care of him very swiftly :^)

SOS Haste armours are important for this fight, and they'll come in handy for Evrae later too, although they'll need Stoneproof as well for that. They should also preferably give the characters an odd number of HP so it activates when they're revived. Also be warned this only works if Yuna's weapon DOESN'T have magic+ abilities, that cost me my first attempt...
