Final Fantasy VII Remake.... it's good!! I've been rationing it out, playing about an hour a day since last friday. The battle system is really fun, but oh man there are so many good arrangements on the new soundtrack! I really hope Square Enix puts it on Spotify...

For this video I decided to swap the audio interface I usually use (Behringer UCA-222) an ART preamp that's a little bit higher end. I thought it might give it a little bit more low end, and let me get the volume louder without distorting. The ART is nice because there are lights on the front so I know when it's too loud. You'd be surprised how many vinyl videos I've thrown away for sound issues 😅

I'm happy with the sound of this one! I'm using the TARUYA M-08 cartridge on this video, which makes the crackle of the vinyl super pleasant. It also has this nice deep tone.

The more vinyl videos I do, the more I learn about this stuff. I'm really happy with how this series is developing. I don't know how many people read my descriptions or use the "Vinyl & Chill" playlist I made, but i'm personally really enjoying the process and the result.
