Hello friends! I felt that the SNES album needed a chill tune in it, so i’m back with a mellow one for you all.
Final Fantasy VI… A classic indeed. In my opinion, Terra is one of the best developed female protagonists in RPG history, and she has a badass theme to boot! I wanted to go for a sort of lo-fi hip hop feel, but it kind of came out as mid-fi instead xD. Anyway, I also wanted to instill the feeling of strife and confusion that Terra had moments before becoming an Esper. The piece devolves and kind of deconstructs itself as time goes on. It’s definitely different than any of the songs I’ve made so far, and it was a lot of fun to make. Hope you enjoy this homage to a green-haired heroine!

So this isnt your typical happy go lucky Christmas song, partially because I love Chrono Trigger and also because 2020 was kind of a garbage year! Schalas Theme has always been something Ive wanted to remix, and this is also the first time I made a remix with vocals in it :D There were some challenges getting the whole mix to sound right and making sure the vocals were on point. I also tried some new chord stack techniques to get things to sound nice and full. I think youll find this song fitting this time around, so enjoy this dank future bass/melodic dubstep tune with xMEIYINs amazing vocals!
