I guess this is a tradition now haha! We made Emerald Hill Zone for the Sonic 2 movie and believe it or not that was our first collab. Feels good to come full circle with a Sonic 3 movie remix! Working with Player2 is always a great time. He always sends me the dankest stems, and it's just a joy to work with! So this isnt your typical happy go lucky Christmas song, partially because I love Chrono Trigger and also because 2020 was kind of a garbage year! Schalas Theme has always been something Ive wanted to remix, and this is also the first time I made a remix with vocals in it :D There were some challenges getting the whole mix to sound right and making sure the vocals were on point. I also tried some new chord stack techniques to get things to sound nice and full. I think youll find this song fitting this time around, so enjoy this dank future bass/melodic dubstep tune with xMEIYINs amazing vocals!

My mans plays an ungodly amount of battlegrounds and hes kind of a beast at it. I too enjoy a good bg from time to time, and I used to play a ton of arena, so this remix has been a long time coming. I tried so many genres on this one, hardstyle, trap, dnb, but nothing fit the vibe quite like PIRATESTEP. I love how the drop turned out tbh, and it really makes me want some rum too.
