Flemlazoid and Sammy stand just outside of Bervenia Free City after the fight with Meliadoul. Flemlazoid has a dazed look on his face as he tries to build up the nerve to ask Sammy something.
"Uhh... why are you looking at me like that?" Sammy asked. "You've been staring at me for about an hour now and it is really creepy. Friend of Trolly's or not, if you keep looking at me like that, I'm going to have to hurt you." Flemlazoid narrowed his eyes in annoyance.
"Well, I was just thinking of asking you something." Flemlazoid replied.
"If it is about a date, it'll have to wait." Sammy began to turn around and walk over to the others. Flemlazoid's eye twitched at this remark.
"Excuse me? Girl, you don't understand who you are dealing with, do you?"
"Master of Black and White magic or not, I really don't care. Just because you can cast a few fancy spells doesn't mean you are worth my time." Sammy started to walk away and Flemlazoid quickly grabbed onto her hand, stopping her from moving any farther.
"Listen to me, just for a second. All I want is -"
"A swift kick in the head!" Sammy cut Flemlazoid off.
"No! I wanted to ask you about how you got here, how you arrived in Ivalice. Listen to me before you make assumptions!" Flemlazoid said with a harsh tone in his voice.
"Ohh." Sammy's face turn bright red. "I... I'm sorry about all of that. I was sure you were trying to creep on me. To avoid that, you really should just come out and ask what you want to know so you don't end up looking like a man with malicious intent next time." Flemlazoid slapped his forehead with his palm in frustration.
"Well, I'm pretty sure it was the same way you guys arrived. The last thing I remember is just about drifting off to sleep when a bright, darker red light flashed... I almost want to say it was garnet colored. Anyway, the next thing I knew is that you three were standing around me when I woke up."
"Hmm... that is quite similar to how Compy, Trolly and I arrived... however we weren't going to sleep, it was in the middle of the day. The color of the light was different for us as well. Compy and I had the same color light, a bright yellow and Trolly's was a more yellowish green." Flemlazoid scratched the back of his head and sighed. "I don't know if we'll ever truly discover how we arrived here."
"Maybe we will... but we can't really do anything about it now." Sammy pulled a brush out and started to brush her hair. "We had better start heading back. I have to say though, I hope we meet Meliadoul again. I feel bad about this whole misunderstanding..." Flemlazoid quietly thought as the two returned to the group.
So we continue our journey to Limberry. While fighting Meliadoul, we learned some sad information. Her brother was Izlude and after all that has happened, Meliadoul seeks revenge against Ramza for him killing Izlude... however Ramza wasn't the one who did it. Ramza tried to reason with Meliadoul, but she fled before he could get to her.
It must be Chocobo mating season because once we arrive at Finath River, we encounter a whole band of territorial Chocobo. Boy, they are mean when you anger them too. It would be a shame to lose to these beasts especially since we've come so far already. I wish they would have just let us pass though... I don't like hurting animals... However I'm not just going to stand by and get killed by something that is attacking me.
