Originating in FF3, there's a reason this theme keeps cropping up all over the place (spoiler it's because it's SO GOOD AND PRETTY) and then Final Fantasy XIV goes and uses it for a VERY GOOD BOY and aaaaaa. Every arrangement is wonderful 🥰
Being as the original was written for 3 channel NES (there's that number again 🤔) beeps and boops, we definitely needed to adjust to make it suitable for the instrumentation and not drive anyone crazy playing the repeated 16th note noodle-doodles all the time. Everyone gets a chance in the spotlight (and the noodle-doodle zone)
Mega thanks to OstilMusic for taking our clearly-not-written-by-piano-players sheet music and adding in some ✨magic✨ to make the final result absolutely gorgeous.
I will never get over how much I love this theme.
