For completion, I felt this Final Fantasy XIII trailer deserved its own upload... this video is a clip-out from my 1h video "Lost Footage of Ken Kutaragi's final speech as PlayStation CEO - TGS 2006 Keynote" here (youtube.com/watch?v=55U_tLr8S_0), even though it's a cam/offscreen (with direct feed audio), to me, there is just something crispy about the game captures I shot from this pres.
Update: To be fair this is mostly pre-rendered so not really about real console graphics - but it's state of the art nonetheless. In 2005, Sony was misrepresenting pre-rendered or target rendered as real PS3 performance, but by 2006, they had learned from that... this FF13 thing was from 2006, so by that time, pre-rendered could just be appreciated for what it is without the distraction of whether it was 'real' or not.

From the vault... recorded a long, long time ago. Probably the only *still photos* even out there of the Shenmue booth from TGS 1999 were mine (from Segaweb) which have often been circulated uncredited but video footage from such events that far back is obviously a lot rarer and I think theres none of this booth online, so I wanted to share these clips for posterity... even though its poor shakycam quality and from Hi8 tape, I think this kind of thing belongs online, not in a box never to be found... I have a lot of footage from this era and no time to sift through it!")

ORIGINAL POST: Some diehard fans got in touch to ask if I had this footage in the vault - apparently segments of it were lost to the sands of time. No idea if this is what you guys are after but here it is. :) The first ~45s is exactly what was on loop on the showfloor on press day alongside several other titles, sadly its only offscreen cam, but at least its a modern encode from the original dv tape (the original mpgs hosted on Gamerweb looked like you would expect a webclip from 2000 to look). The rest of the video is from the main press day conference which included some other Luigi clips, including the first time it was ever shown and peoples reactions. On the final bit, I have some more of the Miyamoto controller demo featuring one of the Luigi ghosts, but its pretty boring tbh. Hope it helps!!")
