This is probably the only surviving footage of Nintendo's prototype GameCube "LCD Monitor" official screen peripheral from 20 years ago, which was never released. We recovered a glimpse of it from our unused E3 2002 show-floor footage, plus the story of the device as told directly by Nintendo president of the era, the late great Satoru Iwata, who explains how an early collaboration between Shigeru Miyamoto and Sega's Yuji Naka helped bring the project into existence.
