A film crew worked on a new movie for the Boston Science Museum. It includes our covered bridge and water-powered sawmill. The film crew had some spectacular equipment and drone pilots. They flew and filmed many passes through the covered bridge following three runners.

Building Cofferdam with Large Sand Bags and Lull Lift

$Building Lombard Road and Bateau Shelter UM Construction Engineering Technology students and faculty continued work on the new Lombard road and bateau shelter. They moved and placed many more yards of gravel using a rented loader and Wills dump trailer and tractor. They drilled 18 holes in a troublesome rock and filled them with Dexpan expansive demolition grout. We hope the rock will be fractured soon. Students completed a new wall on the bateau shelter and made good progress on a new cedar shake roof. Byron did much needed repairs on our road into the museum.$
