Nancy Guild (October 11, 1925 – August 16, 1999) had a short-lived film and television career, but she started with two female lead roles in two film noir movies at Fox - "Somewhere In The Night" (1946), and "The Brasher Doubloon" (1947) - the later being an adaptation of Raymond Chandler's novel "The High Window". Physically, she looked like a cross between Gene Tierney and Lauren Bacall. I think she had an interesting presence and it would have been great if she had made more films. Fittingly, Ella Fitzgerald's "Somewhere In The Night" is the background music.

My (early) birthday tribute to the glorious Natalie Wood (July 20, 1938- November 29, 1981). I hope this video is a fitting homage to her work and legacy. Her talent, beauty, and intelligence still captivate fans today. I hope Ive been able to capture a little of that here. This is another re-do of an older video. Music by Roy Orbison.
