Jan Scholz is back and he has brought some of his large format magic. This week he busts out his large format camera in the breathtaking Swan Falls canyon with Miss Idaho Teen USA Kim Layne. Big flowy dress, whipping winds, and Jan behind the lens.
Due to the not-so-pleasantly warm spring in Idaho, much of the opening interview had to be filmed inside the RV, making for a tight squeeze as Tia styles up the model.

This former musician morphed his two creative passions of photography and music into one. Starting out attending college for music, he decided that he would continue his passion for music in other areas. But shooting for major celebrities didnt just happen. He had to MAKE it happen.
Steven Taylor is a Los Angeles based, self-taught photographer who has captured the raw personalities of some of Hollywoods major musical celebs. Pharrell Williams, Incubus, Snoop Dogg, Bruno Mars, Common, Neyo, Serena Williams, Big Sean, Dave Barnes, JoJo and many others chose Steven Taylor to shoot album covers and editorials because of his talented ability to capture real and raw moments.
Today on [FRAMED], we are privileged to sit with the ever witty and creatively cool talent on his sisters back porch in the heart of Los Angeles. With photo shoots consisting of a rockstar cast, he also shares with us his journey of working with celebs and how he knocked down doors to work with the legendary Snoop Dogg.

His work has been on the cover and folds of Marie Claire, Vogue, ELLE, ZINK, Maxim and many other major magazines, but you might not know it. The photographer has a great deal of creative work and lighting to create the photograph, but the retoucher has a huge task of finishing the art while still keeping the soul of the photograph. Pratik Naik is a high end retoucher specializing in commercial and editorial work. As a retoucher, he is influenced through his classical training in fine art. His belief is based on keeping close to the original vision of the photographer, and enhancing upon it, by removing all visible flaw without leaving any traces behind, resulting in an end product that is both natural and perfect. But what is perfect?
Today, Pratik talks about the retouching industry and inspires us to retouch only to keep the soul of the photograph. He also gives a pre-shoot tutorial and also shares personal post-shoot secrets of his talented trade in Photoshop.
