T&T "The Students" with Ron Contarsy
Desert. Sand. Designer wardrobe. Gorgeous model. This week Tanja and Tia have the ingredients for a amazing shoot of epic proportions. With world renowned fashion photographer Ron Contarsy leading the way, T&T are set for a great experience. Ron has been in the fashion photography industry for over 35 years, and graced the covers of FHM, Vogue, Blush, and many others.
This week Ron sets up a shoot out at Bruneau Sand Dunes in Southern Idaho. The setting is an early morning shoot in the desert with the beautiful Rachel Niu. Everything has been prepped to the 9′s, and group sets in on one of the longest shooting days of the season. Weeks of planning should make for a good smooth sailing shoot, but what Ron finds is that all doesn't quite go as planned.

Ramon Casares refuses to settle for a mediocre existence. He is driven to make a difference in this world, and his photography is his vehicle to express himself.
Ramons love for wild life and photography is truly inspiring.
Once we saw the images Ramon was creating for the Broken Project, we knew that he was the next artist that needed to be FRAMED. The emotion that is evoked when seeing the images is truly breathtaking.
At the time of filming, Ramon has only been in the USA for 6 months. When we met, it was like we were old friends, take a moment and check out his work.

Its called The Brenizer Method and were going to learn from the talented photojournalist turned wedding photojournalist. From taking photos of everyone from Muhammad Ali to President Obama, Ryan Brenizer teaches us the importance of capturing a great story.
Brenizer puts it best...
Photography has filled me with purpose and joy, and taken me places I never thought Id go. I have covered three U.S. presidents, been blessed by the Pope, and been stared down by Muhammad Ali. Ive shared a laugh with Smokey Robinson, and had a picture I took of him used when he received a lifetime achievement award. Ive photographed a 110-year-old woman as she told me what it was like to climb onto the torch of the Statue of Liberty. I was chosen as the only independent photographer allowed near Obama and McCain in their last meeting before the 2008 election. Im the only photographer in the world to have been officially represented by the three largest photographic retailers in the Western hemipshere. Heck, Ive even had a photographic technique named after me (which is crazy).

This week Joel shows us that HDR isnt just for landscapes. Using a continuous 3 light approach, Joel brought out every last detail with a HDR image inspired by Lewis Carrolls Alice in Wonderland.
And this week, he brings in fitness model Amy Rose to pose for some awesome composite volleyball images, and recreate some amazing and high detail portraits.
