I filed my trademark and just HOURS later, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be connected to the USPTO. 😳 He knew my name, my business information, and details about my filing then sent me an email requesting $1,050.

I didn’t pay anything. I stopped the conversation and decided to verify everything independently.
