20 years between the first and last skull and now it's finally come together. Old skulls were cleaned, bleached, and sealed (thanks @WHITEBONE for the helpful videos) and I made some fancy plaques.
This was a very very satisfying project that was long overdue.
I shot my first bear in 2004, in high school. Dad shot one a few years earlier. We got hooked. The level of research, study, and effort we now put into a season is impressive. I have collected data and tracked bears to such a degree that a wildlife biologist would nod in approval.
The last successful season netted a Boone and Crockett trophy black bear. I made a video of that season and if you read video descriptions (which face it, no-one really does that) here is a link to that video - which at this time is uploaded but not posted to my channel publicly.

I will not make these plaques commercially, nor do taxidermy for money. This is just a hobby and everything in this video was for personal use.
