Instrument movement caused by vibrato does not necessarily have to be bad. Since that movement coincides with the rhythm and motion of the vibrato, the affect the bow has when crossing the strings unsteadily will not be negatively audible. Go with the flow and allow the instrument to move rather than clinching away all movement. Relaxing is always better than tensing up.
