This video is about Fibromyalgia and we discuss 5 things to know about it from an Integrative Medicine perspecitve. CORRECTION: At 10:55 I said incorrectly that "Tumeric by itself is good for generalized inflammation". This is incorrect. If you are taking Tumeric to target arthritis pain or generalized body inflammation then taking Tumeric with black pepper or with a fatty meal will help Tumeric to work. On the other hand, if you are taking Tumeric to help gut/intestinal conditions, eating Tumeric on an empty stomach will help the Tumeric to stay in the intestine/gut to work there instead of going out into the rest of the body. Thank you for watching. Please subscribe so we can be Community. Sincerely, Drs. John Lucio & Jennifer Su Lucio.
