Here's a pretty evil puzzle by my friend and fellow speedrunner Kiya. The concept is simple: instead of climbing, you descend with each jump, but the catch is that if you miss any jump you fall all the way to the bottom and you have to start over. At the end you have to perform an intimidating leap of faith.
I exceeded my own expectations because I honestly thought that a proper speedrun wouldn't be possible given how awkward the distances between jumps are and how hard it is to manage speed. It requires very accurate timing, movement, positioning and aiming.
I'm really proud of the run I ended up with, which is nearly 50% faster than I could have imagined at first. It seems that all my combined experience allows me to pull off some pretty cool stuff these days, so I'm glad I gave this a proper try.
