The final ending of FF7 Rebirth provides a multiverse situation where Aerith is both alive and dead in multiple cutscenes with Cloud the only one seemingly able to see her from different timelines. Zack also has some dream sequences and Biggs seems to be both alive and dead in multiple timelines as well. After the scrolling credits, you can see how Final Fantasy VII Rebirth allows chapter select so you can go back and finish off quests you did not finish yet.
