Introduced in 2015 as the replacement for the phenomenal 458, the Ferrari 488 had some pretty big tyres to fill. A 3.9 twin-turbocharged engine replaced the 458’s naturally aspirated one, giving the 488 not only a more efficient engine but a hugely more potent one too. The 488 engine is an automotive masterpiece generating outrageous performance combined with such drivability that you would be hard pressed to detect even a nanosecond of lag when calling on all 661bhp and 560lb-ft of torque no matter what gear you are in or what speed you are going. The experts agreed. It won the overall International Engine of the Year award at Engine Expo 2016, along with victories in the Performance Engine, New Engine and the 3-litre to 4-litre displacement categories. Make no mistake: It's a staggering bit of engineering.
So, it gives us great pleasure to present to you this stunning 2018 (18) Ferrari 488 3.9 V8 Twin-Turbo Spider which has covered 26,950 miles from new. It also comes with the balance of the Ferrari 7 Year Service Pack until April 2025, HELE (High Emotion Low Emission), and an absolutely incredible specification with lots of options including the Carbon Fibre Racing package.
The exterior is finished in the most desirable colour, Ferrari Rosso Corsa, with Scuderia Ferrari Shields on the front wings and 20-inch Forged Dark Painted Alloys with Brake Calipers in Rosso too. The exterior also features a full set of Carbon Fibre Components. You’ll find it on the front bumper mouth, the side skirts, side air splitters, rear air ducts and rear diffuser too! What’s more, it comes with the Ferrari Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS), Front and Rear Parking Sensors & Suspension Lifter.
The incredible specification of this 488 continues on the inside. The Fully Electric Daytona Style Seats are finished in Nero Leather with contrasting stitching in Rosso and embroidered Prancing Horses on the Headrests also in Rosso. It also features the optional Carbon Fibre Steering Wheel with LED Shift Lights with the carbon continuing to the Central Bridge. Topping off the interior is an aluminium Rev Counter!
