Introduced in 2015 as the replacement for the phenomenal 458, the Ferrari 488 had some pretty big tyres to fill. A 3.9 twin-turbocharged engine replaced the 458’s naturally aspirated one, giving the 488 not only a more efficient engine but a hugely more potent one too. The 488 engine is an automotive masterpiece generating outrageous performance combined with such drivability that you would be hard pressed to detect even a nanosecond of lag when calling on all 661bhp and 560lb-ft of torque no matter what gear you are in or what speed you are going. The experts agreed. It won the overall International Engine of the Year award at Engine Expo 2016, along with victories in the Performance Engine, New Engine and the 3-litre to 4-litre displacement categories. Make no mistake: It's a staggering bit of engineering.
So, it gives us great pleasure to present to you this wonderful 2017 (17) Ferrari 488 GTB 3.9 Twin-Turbo V8 which has covered 20,670 miles and also comes with the balance of the Ferrari 7 Year Service Pack until 2024. It has an absolutely incredible specification with a huge optional extras list including that awesome Rosso Fuoco triple-layer paintwork.
The car gets Scuderia Ferrari Shields on the front wings and 20-inch Forged Alloys with Painted Rims and Giallo Modena Brake Callipers. That’s just the start of it. The exterior also features plenty of optional carbon fibre with the Rear Air Ducts, Engine Bay and Side Air Splitters all finished in carbon fibre. What’s more, it comes with the Ferrari Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS), Parking Camera, Front and Rear Parking Sensors and the essential Suspension Lifter. The exterior is also fully protected with a full body PPF.
The incredible specification of this 488 continues on the inside. There’s Goldrake Carbon Fibre Racing Seats are finished in Nero Leather with contrasting stitching and embroidered Prancing Horses on the Headrests in Rosso. It also features the optional Carbon Fibre Driving Zone - consisting of the Carbon Steering Wheel with LED Shift Lights and Carbon Gear Shift Paddles. The huge list of Carbon options continues with the Central Bridge, Dashboard Inserts and Door Sills all finished in Carbon Fibre.
