$Morphys World - Mandelbulb 3D Fractal animation Created by Arthur Stammet in October 2013. Soundtrack composed by Arthur Stammet in 1987 and remixed in 2013. This fractal animation has been rendered in Mandelbulb 3D, a freeware 3D fractal generator programmed by the fractalforums.com user Jesse. It is a long flight through a delicately morphing complex fractal world. This hybrid fractal combines a Menger Cube with a Mandelbulb and its exploration shows its infinitely big and small complexity, flying through this world and Menger-Windows, allowing to explore miniaturized versions of this same world. Morphing in order to close or open entries for the bulbs, created or destroyed by morphings, this world isnt at all stable and just exists for the programmers virtual software camera, following paths, which have been imagined by their creator. This footage, which has been used in two more complex films (Karl Menger meeting Gustave Eiffel in a Time Machine: http://youtu.be/iyN2OG6VT6Y and Organized Chaos : http://youtu.be/Xg0lBeuNChE), shows in this version the entire, uninterrupted voyage, slightly tweaked with rays and sparkles in the reflection-bulbs-sequence. The soundtrack is a long improvisation on an analogue Korg-Synthesizer, mounted onto a rhythmical or atmospheric background. The film unfolds as a single, continuous fractal sequence—beginning with a slow, meditative approach before accelerating into a breathtaking labyrinth of symmetric. An infinity of bulbs and countless Eiffel Tower-like structures, each varying in size and orientation, reveal the endless complexity of mathematical art. This ride begins on an outer part of the structure and scans, step by step, cut by cut, all the shapes we pass through. This series is in reality a kind of animated plan of a mandelbox and boxfold hybrid, showing as well the exterior and the interior parts of the repeating selfsimilar structures. These cuts show how macroforms find themselves in microshapes, growing up to new macroshapes containing similar microcopies of themselves. Composed during the early days of the internet, the piece embodies the slow, evolving nature of digital connection—layering synthetic sounds in a gradual crescendo, punctuated by fleeting sonic fragments. Like the fractal, it is a world of pure abstraction, where even a coffee machine’s drops become part of the virtual soundscape. A celebration of recursion, geometry, and digital artistry. $Looking for a New Home (fractalforums.com competition 2013) - Mandelbulb 3d fractal animation$ $Many Ways Out - 3D Fractal Animation Fractal animation created by Arthur Stammet in october 2013. Soundtrack based on excerpts from a ballet-music composed by Arthur Stammet in 1991. This fractal animation is a dynamic meditation on Philip Pullmans quote When you choose one way out of many, all the ways you dont take are snuffed out like candles, as if theyd never existed. At that moment all [ones] choices existed at once. But to keep them all in existence meant doing nothing. Unable to decide what should be the very best exit out of a Menger Cube, the complex rotation of this 360° Panorama, just shows an infinity of possible exits. No decision has been token at the end and the centered, calm and meditative Zen-atmosphere, brought to the listeners ears at the beginning, returns after the unanswered question. Nothing really happened! The animation has been realized with BluffTitler and Bixorama. The FX Reflection Rotation turns in a complex way around the X, Y and Z axis, animated with an Overhauser Spline. This very interesting approach is possible thanks to the implementation of DDS panoramas, used as reflections in BluttTitler and rendered with the 360° view camera in Mandelbulb 3D. Great thanks to Jesse for having offered this possibility in his Mandelbulb 3D amazing software. On the contrary to Quicktime panoramas, animated BluffTitler panoramas have the great advantage of not stopping the rotation, when reaching the floor or the ceiling, forcing a rotation around the Y axis instead of continuing to change the angle. The eletronic soundtrack has been realized by the author with some digital synthesizers (Casio CZ5000, Yamaha FB-01 and DX-11), driven in large parts by an ATARI-Software (The Composer) programmed by Arthur Stammet.$
