My first YouTube tutorial video. This may help someone contemplating the same procedure. The concepts and suggestions should apply basically to any speaker cabinet. Removable back panel cabinets would be even easy to work with. No guarantee that you'll be pleased with the final result, so always be sure this is what you want to do before butchering a perfectly good closed-back speaker cabinet. Please always be careful using power tools and always wear your safety equipment, i.e. eye, ear, & breathing protection. If you do not work with tools yourself, it should be easy enough to find a carpenter with the tools & skills to accomplish this for you. Mesa Boogie did/does offer a similar cabinet referred to as a half-back. Please leave comments & suggestions if you have them. Thanks for watching and hope this video was instructive.
